i am sorry that i got this book.it hase nothing to do with sigils,ray sherwin should read the book practical sigil magick. this book goes into chaos magick, also aromatics witch i did not ask fore. also he does not give the flashing colours you are on your own.the copy of the book i got went into the trash, that is where it belongs.

A well written book. I found it extremely helpful. You will in fact get results if you practice what is taught in the book. This book belongs in everyone's library regardless of what level of magik you are working with. It is worth every bit of four stars.

a spike through broad subject matters.

Time to time its broadness will be distracting. (save for example: it's mention of "active predicates" which arouse a scheme of familiarizations, with something that in truth will only trouble those whom seek it insufficiently.) Overall the book remains noble to it's exacting cause but fails (as 12:1 always will; but its fun to dress up right?) in abolishing the clever, cunning aspects akin to the very "nature of the beast". ( hahaha another exemplified moment of "active predicates" to arouse your sense of familiarizations!) All I can leave you with is this: although one may find less profit from the purest form, accept no rendition or imitations.

healthy perspective to find direction ( I wonder if that supliments the reasoning for such a small book? he really tried to cut the torment out.,) in some cases I can sense that it will serve as a subtle therapy to rectify what many "hallucinated magic's" (which mainly thrive from the ignorant delusions of the addict in the first place-) have systematically rendered useless through and through.

Excellent guide for non-experts

Having struggled off and on to understand the philosophy of Kant for at least thirty years, I have much appreciated this very helpful book. However, I think it is of value only if you use it as an auxiliary aid in reading the "Critique of Pure Reason." It is by no means a substitute for reading the original. To mention just a few merits of the book: Most importantly, I think, it points up those spots where Kant is confusing or contradicts himself. For example, he introduces a bewildering array of terms (some of which he made up, while others are ordinary words to which he attaches special meanings) but then he often ignores his own definitions and uses terms interchangeably or one term when he should be using another. This book will alert the reader to many of these danger spots, thus eliminating some frustrating roadblocks. The book also frankly faces the fact that some of Kant is incurably obscure, but offers good counsel on what he probably meant. The book is probably written for students, which is by no means my category, but is good for anyone interested in Kant. I also recommend "A Kant Dictionary" (H. Caygill) and "The Cambridge Companion to Kant's Critique of Pure Reason," but I don't think they are as helpful as this one. Thanks to this book I have finally succeeded in reading a good portion of Kant and (I think) even understood a large part of it. Amazing!

A good book but more material will be needed to pass the exam

This is by no means complete. In addition to having no State specific information (which is understandable) a great deal of non State related information necessary for Licensing is absent from this book. The Exam Cram book is more complete. You may want to use this book in conjunction with the Exam Cram boom to stand a better chance of passing the Licensing exam.
